The purpose of the Bay Area Crisis Nursery is to prevent abuse and neglect of children by providing support to families who are in stress or crisis.

Our primary service is providing a warm, loving, homelike environment for children birth through eleven years of age by offering 24 hour residential care.

Our services are free, confidential and voluntary.Click here for more info.

We are always in need of items to help the Nursery. We currently need office supplies and household supplies as noted on the wishlist. Click here to view our Wishlist.

Right now, In early March, we are making Easter Baskets for our client families, and am in need of those small jars of "bubbles" that are often found in toy stores. Going outside on Easter and "blowing bubbles" is a favorite activity of many children. Drop them off at the Nursery any day!

We received a call from a mother of four children under the age of 12. The mother was requesting a stress break. The entire family was stressed because the Father had recently moved out and the Mom was raising the children on her own for the first time. We cared for the children for three days to give her the break she needed. She was very grateful.
